Instructions

Pizza Sauce

  1. Place all ingredients in a medium sized bowl.
  2. Using your hand massage the spices into the tomatoes breaking up any pieces.
  3. Set aside for a few minutes to allow flavors to seep into the sauce.
  4. Sauce is ready to use or store in a closed container in the fridge or you can freeze it as well. This does make sauce for about two pizzas.

Pizza Dough

  1. In a large bowl mix all of the dry ingredients together.
  2. In a smaller bowl mix the wet ingredients together.
  3. Add the wet ingredients to the dry ingredients and mix until you get a sticky dough.
  4. Work the dough either in the bowl the best you can or turn onto a non flour surface to knead until smooth.
  5. Oil the inside of a large bowl and place your dough in the bowl. Cover with saran and place in a warm place for about an hour.
  6. The dough will rise slightly but not double in size.
  7. While the dough is rising prepare your ingredients that you want to put on your pizza.
  8. I slice up mushrooms, green, red and yellow peppers, white onion, spinach and slice tomatoes.

Assemble Pizza

  1. Preheat your oven to 400 degrees F.
  2. if using a cookie sheet place a piece of parchment paper on it or you can cook it on a pizza stone.
  3. Spread the dough to the size and thickness you like, creating an edge around the pizza.
  4. Spread some olive oil on the dough and assemble the veggies as you wish and sprinkle some vegan cheese if you wish.
  5. Bake in the preheated oven for 16-20 minutes or until the bottom of the crust is golden.
  6. Remove from oven and enjoy!
