Matcha Syrup
Matcha syrup is a concentrated liquid made from matcha powder, sugar, and water. It can be used as a sweetener and flavoring agent in various beverages and desserts, such as matcha lattes, cocktails, and drizzling over ice cream or pancakes. In terms of health benefits, matcha syrup retains some of the antioxidant properties of matcha powder, which may contribute to overall health and well-being. Making your own Match syrup also allows you to control the amount of the sugar content. Additionally, using high-quality matcha powder in the syrup can enhance its nutritional value.
