Instructions

  • In a small saucepan over low heat add your washed organic blueberries along with the lemon juice and the maple syrup.
  • Using a fork squish the blueberries down to mash them.
  • Let it simmer for 5-10 mins until the juices have released and it has turned a rich purple color.
  • Remove the pan from the heat and stir in the chia seeds.
  • Allow the mixture to sit until it becomes a thick texture.
  • The jam can be stored in the fridge for up to a week.
