- 4 cups water
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1/2 teaspoon dried basil or 2 sprigs fresh basil
- 1 white onion halved then sliced
- 4 cloves fresh garlic minced
- 12 oz can tomatoes or halved cherry tomatoes
- 12 oz gluten free linguine pasta
- salt and pepper to taste
- 1/4 teaspoon of hot pepper flakes (optional)

Instructions
- Combine all ingredients together in a large pot and bring to a boil over high heat.
- Allow to cook and stir to keep pasta from sticking together.
