Vegetable Chow Mein is a popular Chinese stir-fried noodle dish that typically consists of stir-fried noodles, but today we have just a vegetable version with a variety of vegetables. The dish whips up quick and is known for its savory flavor.
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1 cup of sliced fresh mushrooms ( i prefer cremini)
- 1 cup chopped celery
- 1 cup of chopped white onions
- 3 cups of fresh bean sprouts
- 3 green onions, chopped
- salt and pepper
Sauce
- 1 teaspoon brown sugar
- 1 teaspoon sesame oil
- 3 teaspoons gluten free soy sauce
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder

Instructions
- Heat your pan and oil, now add in your mushrooms, sprinkle some salt and pepper and fry for a couple of minutes.
- Now add in the celery and onions, sprinkle some more salt and pepper.
- Let the mixture cook for a couple of minutes with the lid on to let it steam,
- Stir the bean sprouts into the pan and allow this to steam for a couple more minutes.
- When you reach the texture of the sprouts you like add in the sauce, green onions and stir constantly until heated through.
- Remove from heat and enjoy!
