- 6 cups thinly sliced apples
- 1 tablespoon lemon juice
- 1 cup brown sugar
- 1 cup gluten free four
- 1 teaspoon xanthan gum (if flour doesn't have it)
- 1 teaspoon cinnamon
- 1/2 cold vegan margarine

Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.
- Arrange sliced apples in bottom of glass baking dish (6"x10").
- Sprinkle apples with lemon juice.
- In a medium size bowl combine sugar with flour, spices and margarine.
- Rub through your fingers until its the consistency of peas. Add more flour a little at a time if needed.
- Spread the flour mixture over the apple slices and press down with light to medium pressure.
- Bake just above center in oven for 30 minutes.
*Serve warm with non dairy milk, non dairy whip topping or non dairy ice cream.
