Made by soaking oats in liquid (such as milk or yogurt) overnight, this dish is rich in fiber, protein, and essential nutrients. Additionally, overnight oats are customizable with various toppings like fruits, nuts, seeds, and spices, making them a versatile and delicious way to start your day while supporting overall well-being.

Ingredients

  • 1 cup porridge oats
  • 1 teaspoon chia seeds
  • 1 cup of dairy free milk or dairy free kefir
  • 3 tablespoons (heaping) dairy free Greek yoghurt
  • small pinch of salt
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 2-3 teaspoons maple syrup or more to taste
  • toppings e.g. fresh fruit, nuts, raisons, coconut etc

Ingredients
  • 1 cup porridge oats
  • 1 teaspoon chia seeds
  • 1 cup of dairy free milk or dairy free kefir

  • 2-3 teaspoons maple syrup or more to taste

Instructions

  • Add all the above ingredients to two pint sized mason jar minus the toppings
  • mix all the ingredients really well
  • top with your favorite toppings and place lid and ring on jar
  • place jar in the refrigerator overnight

Other toppings could be preserves like Blueberry Chia Jam, dark chocolate chips, flax seed, your options are endless.

You don't have to add the toppings when making, they can even be added right before you consume your overnight oats.

You can make multiple jars ahead up to a weeks worth.
