Golden Milk
Golden Milk, also known as "Turmeric Latte," is a warm and comforting beverage that has gained popularity for its enticing flavor and potential health benefits. - 2 cups non dairy milk
- 1/4 teaspoon ground turmeric
- 1/2 fresh ginger or 1/8 teaspoon ground ginger
- pinch of ground cinnamon
- pinch of black pepper
- 1 teaspoon honey optional
Instructions
- Using a small saucepan on medium heat place all ingredients in the pan.
- Mix well and allow to simmer until it is heated through.
- You can use a small handheld frother in the mix while it is heating. This will create an abundance of froth.
- Once heated, remove from stove and pour into two mugs.
- Scoop any left behind froth on top of the drink.
- Sprinkle a small amount of cinnamon on top and serve.
- Enjoy!
*If using freshly grated ginger pour the heated mixture through a strainer.
*This can also be served over ice, allow the mixture to cool before using.
